| Plot Summary: | Paul Blake is a 34-year-old farmer who was once a star high-school football player, one of the best quarterbacks in Texas. Paul was forced to drop out of sight when his father died, leaving Paul with the family farm to run. Now, after a 16-year absence, he’s lured back to football by his former coach, Wally “Rig” Riggendorf. Rig has recently been hired as assistant coach to head coach Ed Gennero, who has been hired by Texas State University to turn around the Texas State Armadillos — a team that was placed on probation for corruption, and university president Carver Purcell wants results as soon as possible. The team that Gennero and Rig assemble includes a military fanatic who admires General Schwarzkopf, a physics instructor, a swift martial-arts champ named Eric “Samorai” Hansen, Andre Krimm, and a female kicker named Lucy Draper. On the field, Paul does his best to get himself back into shape, while he has to overcome the awkwardness he feels about attending college classes at his age. And Paul finds himself attracted to journalism professor Suzanne Carter. Paul, Gennero, also have to deal with Dean Phillip Elias, who wants to scrap the university’s football program, and the Armadillos are out to beat the almost impossible odds of winning at least one game this season. |

Morgue, The
| Plot Summary: | Margo Dey isn’t too different from other college girls. She’s smart, she’s pretty, and she has a part time job-working in a morgue. Margo spends her nights traversing the massive mausoleum corridors, chatting with her “quiet friends” as she goes about mopping the ancient marble floors. Margo’s singular earthbound companion is George, the night watchmen, a man so ridden with grief over the loss of his daughter that he seems even deader to the world than the corpses in the morgue. The seclusion of Margo’s night-time haven is shattered when Peter and Nan Townsend appear mysteriously out of the darkness with nothing more than an empty gas can and a frightened young girl, Jill. Margo aids the visitors in recovering from their cold trek through the night, and makes preparations to help them get back on the road. It soon becomes evident however, that something at the morgue wants them to stay. The action kicks into high gear when Jacob and his wounded friend Samim desperately burst into the morgue in search of help, creating a whirlwind of panic and mistrust. Before long, the motley group of strangers is forced to help one another as they struggle to elude the menacing shadow that looms ever closer with each passing breath. |

Miami Vice
| Taglines: | 1: No Law 2: No Order 3: No Rules |
| Plot Summary: | Ricardo Tubbs (Jamie Foxx) is urbane and dead smart. He lives with Bronx-born Intel analyst Trudy (Naomie Harris), as they work undercover transporting drug loads into South Florida to identify a group responsible for three murders. Sonny Crockett (Colin Farrell) [to the untrained eye, his presentation may seem unorthodox, but procedurally, he is sound] is charismatic and flirtatious until - while undercover working with the supplier of the South Florida group - he gets romantically entangled with Isabella (Gong Li), the Chinese-Cuban wife of an arms and drugs trafficker. The best undercover identity is oneself with the volume turned up and restraint unplugged. The intensity of the case pushes Crockett and Tubbs out onto the edge where identity and fabrication become blurred, where cop and player become one - especially for Crockett in his romance with Isabella and for Tubbs in the provocation of an assault on those he loves. |
