Plot Summary:
A gang of armed drug-addicts break into a chemist shop to try and steal drugs to fuel their habit. However, the police arrive too fast and all addicts but one are killed. She, Maggie, is sentenced to death by lethal injection for killing a police officer, but she wakes up after the execution to find that she has been spared in order to train her as a government assassin. After a dramatic transformation, she is allowed to leave and start a new life for herself, on the condition that she always be on call for the government. However, she begins to discover that there is more to life than she previously thought and soon begins to wish she could escape from her obligation. But the government aren’t so easy to evade…

Plot Summary:
Whilst on leave, British agent James Bond prevents a young woman, Tracy Draco, from committing suicide. Her father is the head of a powerful crime syndicate who is impressed by Bond and wants him to protect his daughter by marrying her. In exchange he offers Bond information which will lead 007 to his arch enemy Ernst Blofeld. At first Bond agrees to the deal purely to fulfil his objective to kill Blofeld but later he grows to love Tracy but when the British learn that Blofeld plans to destroy mankind with a deadly virus, 007 is torn between his loyalty to his county and his intent to marry Tracy.
IMF agent Ethan Hunt has been sent on a mission to retrieve and destroy the supply of a genetically created disease called ‘Chimera’. His mission is made impossible due to the fact that he is not the only person after samples of the disease. He must also contest with a gang of international terrorists headed by a turned bad former IMF agent who has already managed to steal the cure called ‘Bellerophon’ and now need ‘Chimera’ to complete their grand plan of infecting the whole world. In order to infiltrate and locate the terrorist group he relies on the help of an international thief Nyah of whom he quickly develops a love interest. Time is not only running out for Agent Hunt to find and destroy ‘Chimera’ before the terrorists get their hands on it, but he must also find ‘Bellerophon’ so as to save his love interest who has already become infected by the disease from a terrible and rapid death.

Plot Summary:
A hollywood historical account of Tombstone, Arizona’s famed “Shootout at the O.K. Corral” and the events that led up to it. Tension between “the Law” and “the Cowboys” stirs as the Cowboys, led by “Curly Bill” Broscius, accuse the Earps (Wyatt, Virgil, and Morgan) and their outlaw/gambler associate “Doc” Holliday of interefering with their operations inside and outside of town. While fairly accurate in depicting the Earps and Cowboys lifestyles and the Earp/Holliday side of the story, the film leaves out one major point of fact. Historically, the Earps/holliday are accused by the Cowboys (aka the Clanton/MacLaurey gang) of being generally corrupt and specifically responsible for a Wells Fargo robbery which left a man dead and the coach cleaned out. The Earps/Holliday in turn accuse the Clanton/MacLaurey’s of the same. Tempers rise over this situation as well as over a court decision finding the Earps not guilty.

Plot Summary:
When a serial killer indicates that his next target is the Miss United States beauty pageant, the F.B.I. decides that they must get an undercover agent as a participant in the contest. A search uncovers no suitable candidate other than a bumbling female agent (Sandra Bullock). Reluctantly, her captain (Ernie Hudson) agrees to let her join the team working the case. The team is led by a womanizing agent (Ben Bratt) who has an apparent reluctant attraction to Bullock’s character. She enters as Miss New Jersey, replacing a contestant who was discovered to have acted in a porno film. The pageant managers (Candice Bergen, William Shatner) are immediately aghast about the agent appearing in the pageant, but arrange a top handler (Michael Caine) to come give her a quick makeover, with the expected outstanding results. Unfortunately, she still is bumbling. When the killer is suddenly caught, everything seems to be over, except the female agent tries to convince her boss that something is still not right. She has discovered that the pageant managers are being dismissed after 21 years for younger people, and Bergen’s character may not be as solid as she seems on the surface.

Plot Summary:
Set in the distant future, a spaceship carrying some 40 people, mostly ones wanting to settle on other planets from their own, hits a meteor shower and crash lands on a distant planet killing all but about a dozen of them. The survivors, led by the second-in-command Carolyn Fry (’Rahda Mitchell’ (qv)), find themselves on a hot and humid landscape with constant sunlight from three orbiting suns. Fry not only must help the survivors find food and water, but contend with a deadly criminal, named Riddick (’Vin Diesel’ (qv)), who was being transported to a prison cell on their destination. But every 22 years, the planet’s three suns go into a total eclipse for a month where darkness brings out the planet’s real inhabitants; large, reptilian, vampire-like creatures that come out and dominate the surface in total darkness, killing and eating all life. The Fry and her people then must cooperate with Riddick, who has surgically enhanced eyes to see in darkness, to lead them to safety and off the planet before they all become dinner for the creatures.
